Soft cover is tan with white lettering on front. Pages are clean and tight. SIGNED BY LEONARD BASKIN on the half title page. Pages are clean and tight. Extensively illustrated with 62 b/w illustrations by Baskin. Leonard Baskin ( 1922 2000) the son of a rabbi, was an American sculptor, book-illustrator, wood-engraver, printmaker, graphic artist, writer and teacher. His public commissions include a bas relief for the impressive Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington DC and a bronze statue of a seated figure, erected in 1994 at the Holocaust Memorial in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Many museums hold works by him.
