Soft cover is stapled wraps of dark blue ground with silver and gold on front. Pages are clean and tight; slightly smaller than the cover. The pages are not numbered; there are 23 pages. Illustrated with over 2 dozen b/w photographs. Besides pictures of the executives, there are photos of employees, at work and what appear to be company sponsored activities. No date of publication, very possibly from late 1940s, perhaps even 1947. "Founded in 1857 by Wallace Barnes in Bristol, Connecticut, U. S. A. , Barnes Group Inc. Has a long and storied history of innovation and technological advancements in manufacturing and distribution. A business that began as a metal parts shop has become a diversified leader in engineering and manufacturing precision metal components and an industrial distributor of a broad range of maintenance, repair, operating and production supplies. Today, Barnes Group consists of two global business segments - Precision Components, and Logistics and Manufacturing Services. We employ more than 5,700 people in more than 60 locations throughout the world. An Earlier Acquirer: 1893 - 1945; in 1893, Wallace Barnes left his son, Carlyle Barnes, to steer the Company toward growth at the turn of the 20th century. In 1913, Fuller Barnes, Carlyle's son, took over as general manager of the Company, which continued to grow through acquisitions. After establishing a presence in Canada in 1921, Barnes-Gibson-Raymond, Inc. Was founded in Detroit, Michigan, in 1922, and a year later was renamed Associated Spring Corporation. The Company acquired Cook Spring Company of Michigan in 1929 and F. N. Manross in 1937, and the Raymond Merchandise Division was started in Corry, Pennsylvania, in 1944. A Public Company: 1946 - 1962. In 1946, Associated Spring Corporation stock was offered for sale over the counter to the public for the first time. .."
