SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Hardcover is green with gold lettering on front and spine. Overall, pages are clean and tight, but does show signs of careful use. Deckled edges to pages. Illustrated with 33 b/w photographs. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the extra title page, where it states 'limited and signed'. Copyright page states 'first edition.' "...Bingay was hired as the managing editor of the Detroit Free Press, a post he held for years. While managing editor, Bingay masterminded a story on an American Legion parade that won five Free Press reporters the Pulitzer prize.
