This was written not as a biography but as a portrait sketch of a man as he had revealed himself in the light of an exceptionally brilliant public career and by personal contact. Nice early biography/sketch of one of the more colorful and fascinating men to occupy the American presidency. ; B&W Photographs; 5 x 7 1/2; 341 pages; Cover has rubbing, scuffing, edge wear, bumping, sunning, signs of perhaps a wet cup/glass placed on the book. Owner's name written on front free end paper, along with small sticker; some numbers neatly written inside rear cover, near hinge.
