No date listed on title or copyright page, but preface is dated 1872; probable first American edition, published around 1900. Last page of book lists other titles by Rawlinson. Pages are clean and tight; illustrated with b/w drawings, and 2 fold out maps. The Parthian Empire is a fascinating period of Persian history closely connected to Greece and Rome. Ruling from 247 B. C. To A.
